[SUMA K4260] Dynamics of Energy Efficiency

September 13, 2011

Falk, Luke
[SUMA K4260] Dynamics of Energy Efficiency

Please keep in mind that this review is more than 5 years old.

Professor Falk started to teach Dynamics of Energy Efficiency in the fall of 2010. This class has gone through some changes as he gained experience with his classes and this semester is now less focused on group work and more focused on individual work. The energy efficiency that Falk focuses on is related to building efficiency and focused on the NYC area. As a result, the scope of this class is a little narrow for Energy Efficiency, but Falk is a very likable guy who is knowledgeable in this area. Previously worked at NYSERDA (New York State Energy Research and Developement Authority) - and has now moved to be the Sustainability Manager for Related Companies. He is a strong lecturer but somewhat disorganized at times.

Workload:

For Fall 2011 - 3 problem sets, 2 essays, Midterm and Final. Make sure that all citations are included in essays. When he says every sentence should be cited, this is not an exaggeration.
