Professor Milnor (who designed the class herself) is the thing that makes classics worthwile. She's completely down to earth and very accesible, and is an awesome lecturer. I, a person who has absolutely no interest in classics, highly recommend the class, but only if Milnor is teaching it.
There is a lot of reading, but it is well spaced out and quite understandable. Midterm and Final (Milnor says she doesnt believe in exams and hands out great study sheets which tell you what exacly will be on the test) There is also an oral presentation (not graded) and a paper on the same topic (no need to do crazy extra research). Workload was extremely managable, even for someone like me with no background in classics whatsoever.
